For the last two years, Watson Research and Training Ltd has delivered masterclasses for members of our Academy. These have been professionally delivered and tailored to meet the needs of attendees who have fed back positive experiences. Always a delight to work with Mags; very organised and has a great attention to detail.
Mags Watson’s talk was so helpful and gave me a lot to reflect on
Workshop with Mags was amazing
Mags’ session was excellent and gave me a lot to think about
Supporting early career researchers to achieve their career aspirations is a really important part of what we do. Mags Watson’s unique combination of extensive experience, robust research and a warm personal style certainly resonated with the attendees at our recent workshop for our fellows’ network, drawing back the curtain and providing actionable advice and tools to help deal with some of challenges of navigating the career development maze. We are already talking with Mags about planning the next one…
My PhD students’ participation in these Masterclasses has provided invaluable support not only to the postgraduate research students but also to me as a supervisor. There is something for everyone, regardless of the stage of the PhD work. Five of my students have attended one or more of these and have nothing but praise for these workshops delivered by Mags and her team. Particular highlights are being able to attend as a small group, Mags’ supportive approach, and her wealth of experience in health services research which can be applied/tailored to specific projects.
